SUSTAINABILITY

"At super.natural, sustainability is an ongoing promise.  We believe in progress over perfection, in long-term impact through collaboration and transparency. Step by step along our entire value chain."

OUR RESPONSIBILITY & STANCE

For us, sustainability isn't a trend, but a firm part of our brand identity. We take responsibility for the environment, our products and the surroundings along our supply chain. Our Merino wool is 100% certified mulesing-free and is sourced through our long-standing partner Südwolle Group. A world-leading yarn manufacturer that works to the strictest environmental and social standards (including OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and RWS).

SCIENCE BASED TARGETS: CLIMATE GOALS

Together with our partner agency myclimate we are actively working towards certification by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). A global initiative that helps companies set science-based climate targets.

Our goal is clear:
🎯 Reduction of our CO₂ emissions by 63% by 2035
🎯 In line with the 1.5 °C climate target

The certification process for this has been successfully completed. The official listing on the SBTi website will follow shortly. This is an important step towards a measurably climate-conscious future.

NEXT LEVEL MERINO: FIBRE OF THE FUTURE

Our original fibre is based on the proven super.natural Merino mix: Merino wool for natural comfort, combined with functional fibres for durability and easy care.

We can see where we need to act: the synthetic component has not been of natural origin so far. Challenge accepted!

The result: BIO SUPER.WOOL

an innovative combination of 50% finest mulesing-free Merino wool and 50% PrimaLoft® Bio™, the world's first biodegradable synthetic fibre.

100% biodegradable

0% microplastics

Reduced CO₂ emissions

Full performance & comfort

Our goal: switching our collection to BIO SUPER.WOOL. For a more conscious future, layer by layer.

OUR PROGRESS: STEP BY STEP

For us, sustainability is a consistent process of further development. With every step we improve our processes and products – consciously and effectively.

Plastic-free packaging: Since 2021 we have been using certified, compostable polybags made from corn starch for our products, which decompose within 180 days under industrial conditions, leaving no residue. In addition, we use paper-based solutions, for example FSC-certified boxes for underwear and paper bands for socks.

Responsible materials: Durable and resource-friendly: We use environmentally friendly materials such as PrimaLoft® BIO™, the first biodegradable synthetic fibre, as well as recycled fillings.

BIO SUPER.WOOL as a milestone: Our innovative fibre combines performance with genuine sustainability: 100% biodegradable, 0% microplastics, reduced CO₂ emissions.

Sustainable range expansion: With every collection our share of BIO SUPER.WOOL grows. From Fall/Winter 2025 we also offer sustainable alternatives in the base layer segment.

"At super.natural, sustainability is tangible in every product and visible with every step forward."
